Valerie

Just recently I had the honor of photographing a beautiful young woman named Valerie. In May she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. From day one Valerie knew that she wanted to document her journey to some day look back on and remember this pivotal time in her life. She wanted something personal and tangible to remind her what she went through and also to share with potential kids and grand kids. 

It was such an honor to be able to document this time for Valerie. Every time I pressed the shutter button I made a small gasp at how incredibly beautiful this girl looked! I wish you all the best Valerie, you are so sweet and strong and such an inspiration to us all!
